With over 20 years of experience working in human capital development and improvement, Deb brings dimensional experience grounded in proven leadership theory to her coaching clients. She has spent the last 15 years in human capital consulting, talent management, and executive/leadership coaching and has worked with a variety of clients at all levels of an organization, including C-suite, senior leaders, entrepreneurs, and high potential leaders. She has worked in a wide variety of industries and sectors, including energy, real estate development, professional services, marketing, and retail. To deliver the best results to her clients, Deb starts from a values and strengths-based approach, often utilizing data from assessments for personal awareness and to gain an understanding of possibly limiting behaviors and/or practices. This allows Deb to encourage her clients to focus on several key areas for improvement to quickly drive change and transformation and create rapid goal achievement. This specific and intentional focus accelerates her clients’ development in the areas needed for their growth and success in their current roles and moves them towards their future goals.
Business and Career Background
Deb has a rich background working in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition and Management, and Consulting. While working for a large midstream energy company, Deb led full cycle recruitment, including developing cost-effective sourcing and screening methods, developing recruiting networks, conducting behavioral interviews, and providing feedback and support to hiring leaders. She also developed retention strategies, employee engagement practices, and leadership development programs for high potentials and senior leaders. While at a Fortune 500 energy corporation, Deb worked as a recruitment/talent acquisition consultant before moving into a Senior Human Resources Consultant position. In that role, she delivered strategic human resource functions including in-depth diagnostics, strategic analysis, and interventions provided to internal business partners for improved business results. She also provided leadership coaching, talent development, and HR expertise to leaders in a variety of departments and divisions.
Education and Certifications
Deb holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education, a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, and a Master of Arts in Leadership. She is a Chartered Professional in Human Resources and holds a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) designation accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF). She is also certified in several psychometric assessments including Hogan Assessments, EQi and EQi 360°, MBTI, Clifton Strengths, and others.
