Coaching and Consulting Experience
Lisa has a rich professional path that has shaped her into the transformational coach she is today. With over 22 years of combined experience in training and coaching, she brings experience from the for-profit and non-profit sectors. As a Delivery Consultant with FranklinCovey, Lisa specializes in transformational coaching through delivery of 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, Leading at the Speed of Trust and Inspiring Trust. Lisa is also the Director of Connections and Director of Women’s Leadership and Development at Park Community Church. There, she is responsible for overseeing and equipping 300+ leaders; coaching, educating, training and equipping young professionals in leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, personal development and team building skills. Lisa is skilled in delivering one on one development coaching and small group facilitation as well as training groups of 400+ individuals.
Business and Organizational Leadership Experience
Prior to coaching, Lisa was a sales leader at Conair Corporation for ten years. There, she was responsible for a $15+ million account base. She also strategized with Corporate Buying Teams of Fortune 500 companies to elevate retail sell through and revenue. She oversaw the expansion of product categories within existing accounts and opened new retail channels of distribution. Lisa was also charged with leading, coaching and managing a team of four Account Representatives. She managed all aspects of the account base including sales of new products and marketing concepts and managing account financials.
Lisa has also worked as a Corporate Solutions Consultant and Trainer with Dale Carnegie Training (DCT) and as a Contract Training Consultant for Deloitte. At Deloitte, she coached and trained Consultants in the U.S. and Canada to elevate effectiveness in communication and client interface, deliver high impact presentations and increase skill in facilitating and building client relationships. While at DCT, Lisa collaborated with Executives and HR of Fortune 500 companies to identify needs and provide solutions for the development of their human capital. She trained all levels of the organizations, emphasizing on middle and upper management, in interpersonal skills, team building, leadership, communication skills, and public speaking. She also managed and led all stages of client projects including gathering of qualitative data through interviews, assessments and focus groups, implementation of human resource solutions, gathering of results and implementation of follow-up plans for sustainable results.
Education and Certifications
Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Illinois State University. She is a certified Leadership Development Coach through CoachNet, a certified MCORE Coach, and a certified Transformational Leadership Coach and Trainer through GAP Community.
