Prior to becoming a Managing Director at Robert Gregory Partners, Maria (Sully) managed executive coaching for all U.S. Partners, Principals and Directors at Deloitte. She also led their high-potential leadership development strategy, design and delivery team. Through her 13 years of experience at Deloitte she understands all facets of developing, deploying, managing and delivering world class coaching and consulting programs.
As a coach, Maria specializes in working with talented leaders currently in or destined for the C-suite. She focuses on helping them, and the teams they lead, develop the skills, behaviors and strategies necessary to achieve outstanding results – thus fueling the organization’s growth and, ultimately, their own success. Through working with executive-suite candidates, Maria has gained extensive experience optimizing the performance of highly successful executives, and helped some off-track get back-on. She focuses coaching on making the most of the executive’s leadership style to improve business results.

Maria has 26 years of experience as senior manager/director in the legal, technology and financial services sectors, with bottom line/revenue accountability at Louis Dreyfus, Simpson Thacher & Bartlett and Deloitte. She draws from this experience to support and accelerate her client’s development. Using the best tools from multiple coaching disciplines, Maria focuses on designing development systems, methods and programs that suit the unique personal and organizational needs of her clients. Recent individual and team coaching clients include AIG, BNY-Mellon, Eaton Corporation, Nationwide Insurance, Cardinal Health, NiSource/Columbia Gas, Kellogg School of Management and Deloitte.
Maria has experience working with a variety of job positions, functional areas and industries. Specifically, she has coached executives with job titles of CEO, President, CFO, Executive Director, VP, AVP, and Director. Functional areas include executive management roles in Finance, Professional Services, Information Technology, Accounting, Human Resources, and Operations.
Education and Certifications
Maria graduated from Dartmouth College and earned the designation Professional Certified Coach from the International Coach Federation. She also trained with the Coaches Training Institute (CTI), CoachU and the Center for Creative Leadership. She is qualified to use and interpret the MBTI, HOGAN, the Lominger Leadership Architect© suite and the Lominger Voices multi-rater 360° feedback tool.
