Coaching and Consulting Experience
Scott has 18 years of experience coaching mid-to-senior level executives across industries including consulting, media and entertainment, technology, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, nonprofit, government, and public policy. Scott brings a unique perspective to his clients and coaching practice, having deep experience as not only a hiring manager but also a career coach/advisor. His passion for helping professionals find what they love to do and guiding them to achieve that goal inspired him to create his own coaching practice. Throughout his career, Scott has impacted hundreds of clients and individuals including mid-to-senior level executives. He works with his clients to fully appreciate their goals and he utilizes several personality assessments, such as CareerLeader and Birkman, to understand their behavior and drive meaningful change in areas of development. Scott is committed to serving his clients by accelerating their growth to help them achieve maximum impact as leaders in their organizations. His areas of focus include career counseling/coaching, personal branding, professional development, strategy development, team leadership and presentation skills. He is also very experienced in coaching to build effective teams, goal alignment and executive presence.

Business Experience
Prior to launching his own practice, Scott served as Director of Career Services at the University of Southern California (USC), where he led a team of career advisors and launched a career development program that introduced career management theory and practice to hundreds of management, executive-level MBA, and public policy students. Prior to USC, Scott spent over ten years in corporate finance at Mattel, Inc., where he was responsible for hiring analysts and other professionals within the organization. He developed and facilitated training worldwide for a performance measurement software initiative and he coached and trained over 300 system users, ranging from senior-level executives to front line personnel. His extensive travels in Asia and Mexico also exposed him to culturally diverse work experiences and taught him to adapt his management and leadership style to diverse, collaborative, and team-based environments.

For six years, Scott served as Executive Board Member and Director of Sponsorships for the MBA Career Services for Working Professionals Alliance (MBACSWP), a non-profit professional association that focuses on providing leading edge career services for executive and part-time MBA students and alumni of partner schools.

Education and Certifications
Scott holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Marketing from the University of Michigan and an MBA in Finance and Organizational Behavior from Loyola Marymount University. He is currently enrolled in Emory University’s Executive Coaching Program, a multi-disciplinary, highly experiential executive coaching program offered by senior faculty at the Goizueta Business School (GBS).
